Q: Will the value of older versions of Ford Mustangs decrease once the 2010 Mustang is released?
Would the value of the older versions of Ford Mustangs (Such as the 99-04 Mustangs) decrease once the new 2010 Ford Mustang has been released? I’m looking forward to purchasing a 99-04 Ford Mustang sometime in the future and I was just curious about my theory.
Help is truly appreciated!
A: Older models always depreciate when a new one is released. Remember also that they will continue to get older and depreciation always increases with age. Consider an 05-09?
Q: When can i go look and possibly test drive a new 2010 ford mustang gt?
I have seen on the internet and heard from people that the release date of the 2010 ford mustang gts is april 18th. I thought that was very early. If anyone can give me a for sure on that date or if you have a for sure on another i would really appreciate it. THANKS
A: When the car gets to your local dealer I’m sure they will be happy to let you drive it. Bigger dealers will get the cars 1st so call around.
Q: What would you add to 2010 Ford Mustang GT?
New 2010 ford Mustang GT is out, what would you add to it if you could? How much are you willing to pay for it? (imagine you are a rich person if you cannot afford it) Please keep it realistic!!!
A: Not much appearance-wise.. I’d order it in bright red, loaded with all options including the glass roof. Tint the windows, get chrome bullitt wheels, and then I’d also swap in the 6.2 engine. No replacement for displacement. This would not be my daily driver. I’d have either the new Taurus or Fusion Hybrid for that.
Q: What are all the customizations I can do to a 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible?
I don’t know that much about cars
but I’m thinking of customizing my future car after I get it.
what are all the possibilities that I can customize on a 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible
If there is a website that lists all of it, that would be GREATLY appreciated. =]
A: I would wait until you actually have the keys in your hand. I would also go with the hardtop as the vert is a couple hundred pounds heavier and the GT500 is rather portly to begin with. I wouldn’t change the any exterior features. I would swap out the stock supercharger for an uprated Kenne Bell unit. I would also invest in some wider wheels/tires, as the stock sized tires don’t provide near enough traction off the line.
Who cars about what the car looks like, The GT500 already has good looks. Under the hood is what matters. I have to chuckle at the people who will spend thousands of dollars on body kits and custom paint. Only to have a bone stock motor under the hood.
Q: What is your opinion on the 2010 Ford Mustang?
I have a 2005 mustang, and after seeing the 2010 Im happy I have an 05. I really like the front of the 2010 but the back of the mustang in my opinion is awful.
What do you think?
A: I agree, only if they merged the 2010 front and 2005 back, or a better back.
Q: What is your opinion about the new 2010 Ford Mustang?
I personally think that it is disappointing that we had to wait five years with a mustang that wasn’t that good just to be changed to the same (or at least very similar) thing.
How much time is this one going to last?
A: i was disappointed at first because of the power rating. but like MIKE said, the 373 gearing plus lighter weight = a fast car. and its not like 315hp isent powerful. Plus i learned that ford will offer 2 supercharged upgrades straight from the factiry with 400-500hp. Plus in 2011 the V6 twin turbo and 5L V8 engines will come out. Now thats AWSOME. And the suspension was modified really well to have better ride quality with GT500 antisway bars. dampers and brakes where tweaked. Plus the interior is cool and the technology is loaded. sync technology is very impressive plus navigation and other stuff. now im impressed.
Q: When does the 2010 Ford Mustang release?
What date is the 2010 Ford Mustang available to buy? Thanks!
A: Its already out.
Q: 2010 ford mustang navigation system and Sirius travel link?
If I bought a 2010 ford mustang premium that comes with a touch screen navigation system and a 6 month Sirius free trial package, after the 6 month, do I have to pay for just the normal navigation like gps stuff, I’m kinda confused…
A: The ” Voice Navigation” system and “SYNC” are Ford factory installed options that are on the vehicle and there is absolutely no additional service charges ever.
Sirius is a subscription satellite program and Sirius Travel Link enhances the Ford navigation system.
Ford has an agreement with Sirius to give customers a 6 month free trial period for the enhanced features that they offer. Travel link gives you :

Now, in addition to delivering over 130 channels of the best sports, entertainment, talk and 100% commercial-free music, SIRIUS now offers premium data services that works in conjunction with compatible navigation systems. ____end copy___
You need a subscription (after 6 month trial) for both Sirius Satellite Radio AND the Travel Link option.
But all the other Ford Navigation features are there for you to use indefinitely.
And all the SYNC features are there for you too, with the exception of “Traffic , Directions, and Information” Since your vehicle has the Navigation system , The T.D.I. features from SYNC are delivered via the nav system.. Ford vehicle owners that do NOT have the Nav system get the TDI features through SYNC.
I hope this explains and that I didn’t confuse you more.
Q: How much does the 2010 Ford Mustang GT cost?
And what’s the difference between the 2010 gt model and the 2008 gt model? I assume that the 2008 is cheaper because the model is older, but I want to know which one has a better engine, etc.. And if you know how much the 2008 model costs too, that would be helpful too.
A: Just wait till 2011 they will have a 400 hp soyote engine (85 more hp than 2005-2010) and order it offline. It is way cheaper to order the car from ford.com than buy it from a dealership. I made my own car on ford.com and it only cost like 28,000 for a new mustang gt compared to one that had les at a ford dealership and was 35,000. Plus if you order offline, you get the paint color you want, the interior color/options you want, and everything else you want for cheaper.
i think Dealerships order them then charge extra to make a profit. But the 208 is different than the 2010 as far as body style goes. And a couple interior changes, other than that, i think the engines are the same
Q: Can i use a 1963 series black license plate on my new 2010 Ford mustang?
i have an old 1960’s series black steel license plate that i rally want to use on my new mustang.
A: You need a current license plate to drive on the road.
Q: Should I get a 2010 Ford Mustang GT Premium at a big discount or wait for the 2011 Mustang GT?
I know the 2011 has more horsepower, what if I got a good offer for a 2010 at a big huge discount? SHould I get the 2010?
if the discount is 10K, is it worth it?
A: SCREW THAT the 2012 are out, find one of those, there are a few out there, and seems like 2010 everyone has one already get something no one has yet
Q: Should I buy a 2010 ford mustang?? Are they good cars?
Thinking of getting one, but I’ve heard that ford cars suck..so just want to know if the mustangs are really good cars? What re the pros and cons of a 2010 mustang?
A: The 2010 Ford Mustangs are great cars to buy. As always, the Mustang gives the consumer more bang for their buck. The Ford Mustang V6/GT gives great handling and acceleration. Many people criticize the Ford Mustang for its solid rear axle and say that the Camaro is the better choice, but the simple fact of the matter is that the Ford Mustang gets 0.95 G while the Camaro gets 0.88 G. But when it comes to choosing which one to buy, the GT model will, obviously, be the better choice. The Ford Mustang GT will hit 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and go onto finishing the quarter mile in 13.5 seconds @ 104.2 mph. This performance is really surprising for a car that costs around $27,000. But it does not end with only straight line performance, the Ford Mustang offers superb handling. Thick sway bars, wider tires, a wider track, improved strut tower braces, brakes, etc., gives the car great handling, better than the Chevrolet Camaro. Along with performance and handling, the Ford Mustang gives great interior comfort. The soft touch interior leather and revised detail gives the Mustang a more luxury look and feel. The only problem with the Mustang Line Up is the V6 Mustang. Many say the engine is outdated and Ford should out a better engine. The V6 is not a bad engine, it will get you to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. Reviewers say that should be able to extract more power out and use a new and better engine. You asked for Pros/Cons for the Ford Mustang so here it is:
2010 Ford Mustang GT:

+AdvanceTrac, new for 2010, traction control and anti-lock brakes also are standard. AdvanceTrac uses sensors to detect and measure yaw, or side-to-side skidding conditions, by monitoring the vehicle’s speed, throttle position and steering wheel angle. When AdvanceTrac senses wheel slippage, it reduces engine torque and applies the brakes as needed.
+The exterior sheet metal, except for the fast-back roofline, is all new for 2010. At the front, the new headlamps, lower fascias, fenders and grille are capped by a powerdome hood that adds to the muscular appearance while functionally allowing for enhanced air cooling of the engine.
+ In the GT, AdvanceTrac, can be run in on, off or Sport mode, which allows drivers to push it more while still retaining control
+ In the GT Model, aerodynamic lift has been reduced by 23 percent for GT models, which significantly improves steering feedback and driver confidence at higher speeds
+The new center stack design adds the latest version of Ford SYNC™, with new features 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report. Drivers also can customize their ambient and instrument lighting through the My Color™ system, which features 125 color options
+
+Mustang’s washer-fluid nozzles are tucked into the cowl, while the antenna has been moved to the rear, both of which create a cleaner appearance while also reducing wind noise.
+Drag Coefficient was reduced by 7 percent on the 2010 Ford Mustang GT
+Standard on all models is a three-link rear suspension with a panhard bar.
+ Tires are increased by an inch across the Ford Mustang line, with 17-inch tires standard on the V6 and 18-inch tires standard on the V8. A 19-inch Pirelli Summer tire is late available as an option for those seeking higher performance.
+ The proven chassis from the Bullitt series serves as the base for the GT
+ A tower-to-tower brace pioneered on the Bullitt lends additional torsional and lateral stiffness to the chassis to improve cornering for those selecting the 19-inch tire
+ Aerodynamic drag and lift balance were improved for better overall efficiency
+ 3.73 axle ratio
+ Performance front/rear brake pads
+ 10/10 Safety Rating

Q: How do I open the fuel door on a 2010 Ford Mustang?
I feel like a real retard asking this, but I have looked everywhere. Is there a release inside the cabin somewhere?
A: Try pushing on the fuel door so it clicks open. At least that’s how the newer BMW’s work. Since it’s a late model vehicle I think their might be a chance it works the same.
Good luck. And hey, that’s what these forums are for.
Q: How Much Does The 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500’s Cost?
I’m looking into grabbing one and spending about $17,000 in customs on it but I need the cost of the car itself.
A: They are roughly about $47,000 for the coupe and $52,000 for the convertible. Some dealers mark up the price on these cars. But if you can spend $17k on customs I’m sure the price of the car is not a big deal.
Q: Can a girl pull off a White 2010 Ford Mustang Convertible?
Do you think a 16 year old girl driving one of these looks more sexy or disgustingly manly?
A: As a guy, I would much rather see a pretty girl in a Mustang convertible than in a VW Beetle convertible.
Mustangs are definitely “guy” cars, so every guy is going to check out a hot girl who is driving one.
